“WHERE PEOPLE, TECH AND EXPERTISE ALIGN TO DRIVE BETTER BUSINESS.”

Based in our Bolton office, Razina is a senior business services manager providing support to clients across sectors, including legal, retail, education and charitable trusts. With a love of accounting and finance from an early age, she has built up her experience and plays a key role in ensuring the team delivers timely and accurate results on accounts, forecasting, budgeting, VAT compliance and onboarding.

Alongside her client-facing role, Razina plays a key part in resource planning and workflow management within the bookkeeping team, regularly reviewing team capacity and work allocation to ensure seamless client delivery.

People-first approach

“I believe the people behind a business are its greatest assets. Whether it’s clients or colleagues, understanding individual strengths and building trust is key to delivering great results.

I pride myself on being approachable and responsive by always making time for regular check-ins and informal conversations. During the onboarding process, I am always willing to go the extra mile for my clients to help them achieve their goals. I make it a priority to match the right team member to the right clients because when teams play to their strengths, we work more efficiently, and clients get the best possible service.”

Collaboration is key to a successful relationship

“Collaboration is at the heart of how I work. It’s key to both individual and team success. I bring a strong work ethic, resilience, and a collaborative mindset to everything I do. I’m always ready to step in, help manage workloads, or offer support when challenges arise. Creating a positive, team-first environment not only helps the team thrive but is reflected in the service we offer.”

Real value, beyond the numbers

“For me, accounting is much more than just processing figures. We can help clients understand their business better, make smart decisions and spot opportunities for growth. Whether I am setting up forecasts for an optician or reviewing quarterly VAT returns for retail businesses, I bring both technical skills and a commercial mindset to the table. I believe a great accountant doesn’t just report the numbers, they interpret them, challenge assumptions and help clients move forward with confidence.”

Practical, efficient and always there

“I once helped a client overcome a hurdle while onboarding them, after they had lost trust in their previous accountant. One of the key hurdles we faced was inheriting a number of old issues that needed resolving. But by communicating openly, and staying focused on their goals, I was able to bring back their confidence and build a strong, lasting relationship.”

Staying ahead of the transitioning world

“While technology brings speed and convenience, successful software implementation relies on careful planning and execution. One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was leading a software implementation that involved migrating large amounts of financial data where accuracy was critical. That experience taught me the importance of early engagement, getting people on board from the outset and leveraging their strengths.

In the accountancy world, we’re always up against tight deadlines and an ever-changing legislative landscape, which is why it’s so important to stay one step ahead where we can and organised. We’re lucky to have a team where everyone helps each other out and are all on the same page when it comes to putting clients first, which makes navigating busy periods easier.”

Part of something bigger

“What excites me most about the future is continuing to help clients reach their goals and being part of their success stories. I’ve always been passionate about continuous development, whether that’s embracing tools like AI in my day-to-day work or refining my management style to better support my team.

At AAB, I’m surrounded by forward-thinking colleagues who go far beyond traditional accountancy, offering clients meaningful support across every stage of their journey, from corporate finance to wealth management. It’s genuinely inspiring to be part of a team with such a positive, collaborative mindset, where everyone is willing to help.”
