“I’M DRIVEN TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT CLIENT SERVICE”

Bryan Chambers is a Forensics Senior Manager based in our Belfast office, working across the island of Ireland and the UK.  With over 15 years of experience both regionally and internationally, Bryan supports clients through disputes and investigations, drawing on his deep technical knowledge.  Bryan produces considered and measured reports which withstand legal scrutiny.

Clarity from the outset

“My approach always begins with understanding the issue at hand. I find it most valuable when I am brought in early on cases, especially in fast-moving or sensitive circumstances. I’m always more than happy to provide an initial view, and I encourage clients to pick up the phone to chat through things first.

Whether the issue is a Dispute or an Investigation, I always aim to provide clear, impartial advice early on to assist with my clients’ decisions.

I pride myself in providing proportionate, high-quality, thoughtful work from an independent perspective.”

Looking at the bigger picture & the small print

“At its heart, Forensic Accountancy is the analysis, interpretation and summarisation of complex financial and business matters. The best forensic accountants can see the big picture whilst paying close attention to detail, and can communicate their findings concisely and in a manner appropriate for the client and the Court.”

A trusted team member

“I feel privileged that I get return business from my clients.  My clients appreciate and can rest assured that from a point prior to engagement, right through to settlement or judgement, I will work alongside them and their team, anticipating their requirements, whilst providing an independent opinion which withstands scrutiny.”

Drawing on experience

“I have over 15 years of expert witness Forensic Accountancy work involving drafting hundreds of reports which has given me experience that clients appreciate.  A good forensic accountant understands the questions to ask, knows their place with respect to the Court, counsel, other experts and their client, and can present their findings to each of these groups.

Alongside dispute work, I also undertake forensic investigations, for example, involving suspected fraud or misconduct.  On over a dozen occasions, I was personally instructed by the Secretary of State to investigate allegedly fraudulent companies under Section 447 of the Companies Act.  Other past investigations have included bookkeeper frauds, and whistleblowing cases.  I assisted a UK-client with their response to one of the first prosecutions under the Bribery Act.  These cases demand rigour, discretion, and attention to detail, and that’s what I bring to every case.”

Collaboration drives success

“I’ve been fortunate to work with many talented professionals over the years. Collaboration is key to how I work, and I’ve always believed the best outcomes are achieved when colleagues, experts, solicitors and clients work closely together. I always find myself learning from each case.  It is a privilege to work in a high-calibre team focused on delivering the right result.”

Reframing perceptions

“There’s sometimes a misconception that forensic accountants just ‘run the numbers’. The role is more than calculations. It’s about listening, interpreting, advising, and communicating. The numbers are just the start, and the real value lies in what you do with them. Good forensic accounting is about proportionate financial analysis, attention to detail, problem solving, and the preparation of concise reports drafted with the intended reader in mind.”

Excited for what’s ahead

“I’m genuinely excited to be part of AAB at this stage of its growth. There’s a clear ambition to expand both locally and nationally, and a commitment to providing high-quality forensic services that deliver real impact. I’m looking forward to contributing to that growth across the business.”
