Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self-Assessment

It’s official, from 6 April 2024, Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax Self-Assessment (ITSA) will apply to all self-employed individuals and landlords with total business and/or property income above £10,000 per year. If this sounds like you, then you’ll need to be ready to submit quarterly updates to HMRC with details of your income and expenditure using MTD compatible software by 5 July 2024.
