Our Future Leaders

Given the nature of our industry, investing time engaging with and supporting the young workforce has always been something we aim to do. At AAB, we recognise that our future leaders can come from all walks of life and through sharing our knowledge with younger generations, we can help provide support and encouragement to ensure the future success of the overall industry.

Involvement with schools and universities to support career development is something we feel very strongly about. We get involved with numerous education initiatives across the North East and Central Belt which range from curriculum support in schools to employer engagement in universities, to aid in educating young people about business, enterprise and associated career paths.

  • AAB have been proud sponsors of the RGU Best Final Student in Accounting and Finance BA(Hons) since 1997
  • We also sponsor North East Scotland College’s (NESCOL) Best Student in Accounting and Finance
  • AAB Consulting is powering IMPACT30, a 12-month business growth programme to support the next generation of entrepreneurs
  • We have established training programmes welcoming apprentices and graduates across our teams

Overall, AAB is actively involved in investing back into the Accountancy and Business Advisory professions and influencing their direction. Through providing every AAB employee with the opportunity to undertake further education, AAB teams are contributing to the overall knowledge pool of our industry. We also encourage our people to share their knowledge and experience by involving themselves with groups and committees within our professional institutes and through various mentoring programmes.
