Care and Repair Edinburgh

“We have received the fabulous donation of £1,032 from AABIE towards the purchase of keysafes. We are going to put this donation into our Keysafe Hardship Fund so that older people who cannot afford to pay for a keysafe can have one installed for free. Older people are often in hospital, desperate to get home but cannot until a keysafe has been fitted, enabling carers and family members to gain entry to their house to support them with their care.

As you can imagine having a keysafe fitted can make a world of difference to these older people. On behalf of older people across Edinburgh, thank you very much.Susan Irwin, Trust Fundraiser
