As a Corporate Finance partner, she specialises in business acquisitions, business sales, valuing businesses, financial due diligence and raising finance across Central Scotland and beyond.

VALUABLE & ENJOYABLE RELATIONSHIPS

“I enjoy working with clients where they see me as a true partner in their business and they value the expertise and advice that we can provide. I like to think that the reason clients come to AAB, and work with us long term, is that we are people that they genuinely enjoy working with.

Interacting with clients and building strong relationships is what really drives me. It’s about the people running the business and the dynamics at play in the business. I feel that a key part of my role is making sure our clients are happy and ensuring that their relationship with the AAB team is a fun and enjoyable experience.”

DIVERSE, DYNAMIC, ENTREPRENEURIAL

“We’re a team of diverse, dynamic, entrepreneurial individuals that are bound together by shared values and a passion to provide awesome client service.

We’re driven by the needs of our clients, but we want to deliver our services in a way that our clients say ‘Wow!’ We try to do things differently and bring some enjoyment into everything we deliver to clients. Our aim is to reset what accountancy is about and change how an accountant is perceived.”

USING TECHNOLOGY & MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS

“Technology is vitally important in what we do and it enables us to make our clients’ or our team members’ lives easier. We’re continuing to face a technological revolution, but the key is how we embrace that whilst maintaining the personal side of what we do and the relationships we build.

Our clients come to us because of our people, our market knowledge, our credentials, and our ability to be able to deliver for them. You’ll never replace the emotional intelligence that we bring into a relationship with technology.”

ENJOYING THE BUSINESS JOURNEY

“The Edinburgh office has grown from a standing start and so I’ve been through the same growing pains and challenges that many of our clients experience. Creating the right structure as the business grows, building a leadership team, trusting the team, and letting go have all been part of my role.

We’ve got a phenomenal team in AAB and such a great journey still ahead of us. We’ve got ambition and putting our plans into action and sharing that journey with the best people is going to be the highlight for me.”
