AUDIT

What does my team do?

Our team provides audit and assurance services, ensuring clients’ financial statements are accurate, compliant, and present a true and fair view. We test key financial areas like revenue, costs, and balance sheet accounts while analysing business risks and supporting clients through the audit process. Working with businesses of all sizes across industries from oil and gas to charities helps give us valuable insight into different sectors. But audit isn’t just about checking numbers—we get to know our clients and their businesses and add value wherever we can.

Why I love my job?

What I enjoy most about audit is the variety, every business is different, so there’s always something new to learn. I like working independently while being part of a team and gaining client exposure. The team is really supportive during training, and with so many young people at the firm, you’re don’t have to go through exams alone!

CORPORATE TAX

What does my team do?

We work with clients to support their Corporate Tax needs. This varies from Tax Compliance to Advisory work covering specialisms including International and Large Corporate, Innovation Tax and Expertise, Expertise to Entrepreneurial Taxes and Tax Audit. We work collaboratively across offices to service our clients who vary in size, background, and industry. With the breadth of areas we cover, every day is different.

Why I love my job

I get to work with amazing people who support my development in lots of different ways. I feel trusted to take initiative to accomplish tasks and I’m encouraged to work on my personal goals. I really like the flexibility we have and the modern attitude the firm takes to working. The office also has a great buzz and there’s lots of young people – so the social life is a bonus!

GLOBAL EMPLOYMENT TAX

What does my team do?

We work with clients across all sectors advising and completing relevant reporting on all Employment Tax related matters. This can be ad hoc queries to full projects such as PAYE reviews. We focus on areas such as expenses and benefits, employment status and off payroll workers, termination payments, employment related securities. We ensure that our clients are compliant with ever changing legislation and that our clients understand any implications for both the Company and their employees.

Why I love my job?

The employment tax world is highly technical, no matter where you are within the team you are checking legislation and HMRC guidance every day! The real satisfaction comes from identifying efficiencies for our clients where we can see a real impact on our clients cash flows, time savings and their employee engagement. Our team has a variety of backgrounds, which is beneficial given the technical nature of our job, this allows for interesting discussions on upcoming changes and current processes, we also learn something new from one another regularly.
