As a follow-up to the seminar hosted by AAB at Kingshill View on 21 November 2017, Markus Susilo, Partner at Crowe Horwath – UAE, will present a webinar at 12:30 on Tuesday 17th April 2018.

VAT was introduced in the United Arab Emirates and in Saudi Arabia from 1 January 2018 and represents a significant development in taxation for the region. The remaining Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC) countries will introduce VAT throughout 2018 and 2019.

This webinar is being hosted by top accounting network Crowe Horwath International.  The webinar will again be presented by Markus Susilo and will provide a practical update on the lessons arising from the introduction of VAT in the United Arab Emirates.

The webinar will cover

  • Late VAT registration and delay of the first tax period in 2018.
  • Business model adaption and administrative challenges.
  • Recoverable input VAT.
  • Cross border transactions, within and outside the GCC.
  • VAT treatment for non-resident organisations.

Who should attend?

Finance and tax professionals that require a better understanding of how the new VAT rules in the GCC apply to their organisations.
