“The coaching & staff development is second to none.”

Robbie Mutch is a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager based in our Edinburgh office. Robbie works with a variety of clients, helping with their annual corporate tax compliance as well as providing advisory work on specialist tax projects.

Robbie also sits on our Exploration & Extraction team. He gets to work with clients who would like to streamline their operations or incentivise key members of staff, and he works to do this in the most tax efficient manner.

Part of the journey

“One of the most satisfying parts of my job is watching as clients grow and hit the milestones and targets, we discussed together. I love knowing that I had a hand in that client’s journey.

In the Exploration & Extraction team we often help clients with disposing of and acquiring businesses. It’s a great feeling when a transaction has completed, and we have been there every step of the way”

Developing people culture

“At AAB you are able to watch as colleagues learn and grow into their roles from their first days to gaining experience and moving up the ranks. This is one of my favourite things. The coaching and staff development is second to none and really helps us to develop our people to be the best they can be.

“Working in a team that is growing at a rate of knots with talented graduates and senior individuals with lots of experience is so exciting for me. This will allow me to develop my own skills as well as passing my knowledge to the next generation.”

Dedicated to helping clients achieve

“People think we are just bean counters, or just out to find the tax you have to pay, and that’s job done. We are so much more than that, helping our clients maximise the amount of relief due to them, structuring their business in the most efficient manner and helping incentivise their staff in order for them to achieve their goals”

“AAB’s future definitely will have the business expanding into new territories and sectors, which will allow me to work with a greater range of clients and team members all over the world.”
