“HIGH-QUALITY AUDITS DELIVER & ADD VALUE.”

Niamh McNally is an Audit Manager based in our Dungannon office. Her role primarily focuses on statutory audits of clients ranging from SMEs through to large corporates and international groups, alongside accounts preparation and consolidations. Niamh also has experience carrying out due diligence engagements alongside grant audits.

Niamh helps her clients by creating a clear line of communication from the beginning of the engagement until the final sign off, keeping the client updated every step of the way so they understand where they are in the process.

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS THAT LAST

“My ideal relationship with clients is one where communication is frequent and flowing, and there’s a strong basis of trust and collaboration. I enjoy getting to know my clients on a more personal level. This enables us to build a strong relationship where they feel comfortable can be open and transparent with me.

We always aim to deliver a high-quality audit that adds value to them as a business. Building strong relationships ensures that our clients are able to trust we will carry out an audit in the most efficient and painless way. Across the AAB Group our highly dedicated team work in close collaboration to share best practices, knowledge and experience to improve efficiency and delivery of service every time.”

AABSOLUTELY DEDICATED TO ADDING VALUE

“For me there’s no greater compliment from my clients than hearing that I’ve added value to their business and made the whole process as easy as possible. One of the most satisfying parts of working with my clients is seeing what they are able to do with the information that we give them. We’re able to provide them with a new perspective on their business. I strive to be as helpful and efficient as I can, aiming to give the client insights into their business or something they can take away from the audit that can help them in the long run. It’s really rewarding for me to be able to take part in our clients’ success journeys.”

BRINGING A DISRUPTIVE MINDSET TO THE TEAM

“I feel I bring a disruptive mindset by challenging traditional practices, seeking innovative solutions, and introducing new perspectives into my engagements. I love that as part of a tech-enabled business I have the opportunity to explore advanced technologies, such as automation and data analytics to improve efficiency and help with our decision-making processes. I feel that developing this disruptive mindset can really help to encourage continuous improvement within the team while at the same time keeping us at the forefront of industry advancements.”

OUR ETHOS OF POSITIVITY

“Our ethos of positivity, enthusiasm and fun really rings true to how we work in our teams. We’re a really close team, and we’re always looking out for one another while ensuring we’re having fun along the way.

I love the development aspect that comes with having a team of individuals with different backgrounds and levels of experience. I also find training junior staff to help them grow and develop really rewarding. On the other hand, it’s fantastic to have the opportunity myself to keep learning and growing professionally from working with colleagues who are experts in their field and have such a wealth of knowledge to share.”

THINKING CREATIVELY & CRITICALLY

“I believe the stereotype of accountants being introverted, dull and boring is extremely outdated. This perception fails to recognise the diverse and dynamic nature of what we do at FPM and AAB. We play a critical role in financial analysis, strategic decision-making, and providing insights for business growth. As business advisers, we often need to think creatively to find innovative solutions when addressing complex financial challenges and navigating the ever-evolving regulatory landscape. We are problem-solvers, critical thinkers, and always continuously learning – there’s nothing dull about that”

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES AHEAD

“Thinking about the future, I’m really looking forward to seeing where my journey at AAB takes me as I continue to grow along the firm. I’m excited for the opportunity to learn from my colleagues and the leadership team. I love that AAB offers us a fantastic range of opportunities, and every day there’s an exciting new challenge and learning opportunity to take on.”
