Mandy Ross is a management accountant in our Virtual Finance Function (VFF) team, supporting businesses that have limited or no internal finance function.
Based in our Aberdeen office, Mandy produces monthly management accounts for clients whilst also helping with day-to-day processing and advisory.
Mandy also works regularly with AAB’s payroll, VAT, audit and wider business advisory team to provide clients with ‘under one roof’ solutions for their business.
“As I work in VFF, tech and being virtual is a huge part of the role. It means we can do our job for clients located anywhere in the world. It is nice to meet clients face to face, but it isn’t required to be able to meet their needs and requirements and the flexibility around it is great!
I find tech improves efficiency as it can automate simple tasks allowing us to focus more on providing true value services to our clients.
Part of my role is also encouraging clients to adopt cloud solutions. I spend time getting to know their business needs and existing processes before researching what solutions would be best suited for us to implement for them.”
