SECTORS/SUPPORT

All departments across AAB, including Support & Administration, Technical team, Operations.

Hayley Forsyth is a Resourcing Manager in our Operations team. Based in Aberdeen, her role involves supporting the recruitment of experienced hires across AAB through advertising live vacancies, sourcing candidates, arranging interviews and assisting candidates through the offer stage.

“I would be the point of contact for agents, candidates and recruiting managers. Effective recruitment and selection are essential in supporting our people strategy and ensuring we are equipped with the people needed to successfully deliver to our clients and stakeholders.”

“I’M PASSIONATE ABOUT ADDING TALENT TO THE TEAM.”

“I love when we make a successful hire that is going to contribute to the ongoing success of the group. I also really enjoying speaking with different recruiting departments to learn about what they do to support our clients. This can be anything from sector specific roles to niche tax knowledge or a particular skill set, to support me in sourcing relevant candidates.

We are constantly looking for motivated people with drive and vision to join us and with limited candidates available we have to be lively in marketing of our recruitment and opportunities.”

TECH ENABLING A FURTHER REACH

“AAB have invested in technology to allow remote/hybrid working and enable us to consider candidates in other geographical locations and allows our staff to manage their work life alongside their home life. I do prefer “hands on” meeting and I look forward to more face-to-face interviews, which allows for better relationship building and to really “sell” the AAB culture.

Over the last 18 months there has been a shift in the way employees view their work and what they’re looking for. Whilst salary is a major factor, candidates have realised the importance of a better work/life balance and the flexibility available through hybrid working. AAB listened to our staff and offer flexible/hybrid working as standard where possible for all employees. Therefore, AAB have invested in technology to allow remote working and open communication with managers and team members. We are actively supporting a change mind set to redefine productivity.”

INNOVATIVE PROCESSES IN A DRIVEN MARKET

“It is a candidate driven market with lack of available candidates, so we have to make sure we are proactive in our recruitment process and be quick off the mark to progress with any suitable candidates.

I am excited about trialling and creating unique and innovative ways to attract new talent and supporting with recruiting new talent to support AAB’s growth plans. I am excited to get the market engaged with the AAB Culture and showcase the fantastic opportunities we have available.”
