HOW I HELP

Ensuring a seamless payroll installation for our clients.

“PROVIDING CLIENTS WITH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE ART OF POSSIBLE”

Emily Bolek is an Installations Manager at AAB Payroll Inc. based in our Grand Rapids, Michigan office. Her role involves installing our payroll software for clients. During the implementation process, it’s Emily’s job to ensure everything is set up correctly and processing as it should. If the client has any queries throughout the installation, she is on hand to answer any and all questions.

IMPORTANCE OF RESPECT AND TRUST

“I believe mutual respect and trust are essential components of any client relationship. They need to be able to trust that we’ll provide them with the service they expect that we understand fully what they need and that our solution will meet those needs. We need to trust that we have all the information we need about them, their needs and how we can help them. Mutual respect and trust mean we work together to achieve an end result that is mutually beneficial.”

ACTING OBJECTIVELY FOR THE CLIENT

“One of the most satisfying aspects of working with clients is really getting to know them as individual people and getting to know their business, what they do and what they need from us so we can ensure our solution is the right one for them. When we have that understanding we’re able to add value. We’re able to act objectively and highlight and fix issues they might not have been aware of. Working alongside our team to deliver a great service is great.”

TIME AND PLACE TO BE DIRECT

“It’s important to me that I can be firm and direct while also being positive. That’s sometimes the best approach to take to get the job done and, move on to the next step. Clients find this approach helpful because I’ll tell them the unvarnished truth so they can truly get a measure for where they are and the situation, they’re in. At the same time, I will not stop until we have a solution when a problem does crop up. I think being able to offer clients both offers them more.”

BENEFITS OF TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENTS

“My preferred approach to working with both my team and with clients is a balance of virtual and hands on. The advancements in technology mean that there’s so much help and easier ways to get things done which adds value for our clients. I enjoy being able to get to know clients in their places of work, face to face helps to build strong relationships and enables value to add.

EQUIPPING CLIENTS WITH KNOWLEDGE

“One of the greatest challenges I come across is a lack of payroll knowledge. While this is a challenge it’s also a really great opportunity for us to be able to provide our clients with knowledge about the art of possible to better equip them and show us as a trusted advisor. It’s also an opportunity to offer suggestions for improving practical and knowledge to assist with their needs which shows we listen; we understand and we’re here for them.”

UTILISING ORGANISATION

“I believe the greatest strengths I bring to the table are my attention to detail and ability to problem solve. Organisation really is key, and I find having systematic processes helps me to create greater efficiency and reduce errors. The key to those errors continuing to serve their purpose is constantly evolving them”.

LIVING OUR VALUES

“I love all the values here at AAB Group. I think they’re all so important and lived by our people every day. For me, the one I resonate with more is collaboration is our superpower. At AAB Payroll Inc we are a small team and that means pitching in and helping other departments when the business needs it. It means supporting our colleagues on projects to ensure they are over the line on time, and it means knowing there’s a group of people that you can depend on. Being part of the wider international AAB Group of 1000+ employees means that we have a huge support base and offering for clients.”
