Rohan Savage is a Business Advisory Manager based in Aberdeen. Rohan’s focus is on a combination of year end accounts and management accounts preparation for a variety of companies and industry sectors. This extends to overseeing the outsourcing and VAT return preparation for clients and he is also involved in the cloud accounting team, assisting with the implementation and support for cloud accounting software. 

In his role, Rohan works with teams across the business including corporate tax, VAT, private client, payroll, corporate benefits and audit.

I really enjoy having the opportunity to advise clients on their own systems and introduce the use of clouding accounting to bring efficiencies and better suit their needs across different areas of their business. It is a drastic change from the days of desktop accounting as clients now have access to up to date and readily available information at click of a button, which ultimately helps them run better, more informed businesses.”

TRAINING THE TEAM

“Another area of my role I really enjoy is working with colleagues, passing on and overseeing jobs I used to complete to junior members of the team, sharing my knowledge and experience with them as other colleagues did, and continue to do so for me. Given I joined the firm as an apprentice, I have first-hand experience of the training and challenges faced to be able to mentor the junior team members. There are a lot of opportunities at AAB for personal development and growth.”
