REMOVING THE UNCERTAINTY & STRESS OF TAX.”

Natalie Butler is a Manager in our Private Client Tax team. Based in Aberdeen, Natalie manages a portfolio of clients, providing compliance support and advice on aspects such as residence for internationally mobile clients, Capital Gains tax and UK and International tax planning advice.

AN IDEAL RELATIONSHIP

“I’m a people person, so I thrive on forming good relationships with my colleagues and clients. An ideal relationship involves building a longstanding relationship where we are happy to contact each other to discuss queries and issues, and can have a chat at the same time. Clients expect us to remove the uncertainty and stress of tax, and to make their life easier. One of the most satisfying aspects of working with clients is having the ability to help with things they otherwise wouldn’t be able to do themselves.”

TECH ENABLED

“Many of my clients live overseas so being able to video call with them helps to connect us and gives a much more personal feel, which you get from face-to-face meetings. Being able to work remotely and connect with clients is also important when dealing with different time zones, without having to be in the office to conduct these meetings.”

OVERCOMING CHALLENGES

“Having deadlines to submit documents to HMRC can be challenging when the information required is not available until last minute. However, our team is used to turning work around in tight deadlines and work well together to meet these deadlines.”

PART OF A GROWING GROUP

“As the AAB group continues to grow, so do the opportunities to progress and expand my knowledge.  I look forward to working with different sectors and seeing the firm’s ability to offer a range of services widen even further.”
