Meet the Support team
All team members from all departments.
Supports team members with HR related matters and ensures a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
All departments across the AAB Group.
Louise Imray is a Co-ordinator in our People & Culture department. Based in Aberdeen, her day-to-day role involves HR administration and specialised team projects, as well as providing support to team members across the group. She maintains personnel records, ensures all employment requirements are met, liaises with other departments, such as IT, Payroll, Finance and Corporate Benefits, and supports the Resourcing Advisor with recruitment by issuing employment contracts and performing pre-employment checks.
“I am a primary point of contact for Team members across the Group to assist with People & Culture queries, reporting to stakeholders on personnel-related data (new hires, leavers, turnover rates etc.), onboarding and offboarding admin, administration of our internal payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.
I love welcoming our new hires into their new roles, ensuring they feel part of the Group before they officially start through email communications and telephone calls. It’s a great way to build the relationship with them and helps put them at ease as they embark on the next chapter in their career.”
“The nature of HR roles often involves having difficult conversations when Team Members are dealing with problems, whether that be at work or on a personal level. This calls for a great deal of patience, understanding and compassion. I think one of my greatest strengths is my ability to connect with people; being caring, understanding, patient and compassionate.”
