Eva Chambers is a Global Employment Tax Manager based in the London office. With a unique blend of Irish and UK employment tax knowledge, she manages global mobility engagements, providing local and cross-border tax advice to businesses navigating the complexities of managing an internationally mobile workforce. She specialises in revenue audit work, due diligence, and large-scale employment tax and mobility projects.

Eva’s work ranges from providing tailored advice on individual tax returns and company payroll filings to conducting PAYE reviews and ensuring compliance with social security obligations. Whether it’s coordinating the necessary tax applications for employees relocating across borders or reviewing company-wide payroll processes, Eva’s approach is focused on clarity, collaboration, and providing solutions that genuinely make a difference.

A partner in solving challenges

“I believe the best client relationships are built on collaboration. For me, it’s about working together to move towards a shared goal. I love taking the time to really understand what’s going on behind the scenes for a client and then figuring out how I can make things easier for them. Sometimes, that’s through detailed written advice; other times, it’s as simple as having a quick conversation to offer a solution.Seeing junior colleagues develop and grow in confidence is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role. I enjoy helping them navigate complex challenges and take ownership of their work—it’s amazing to see their progression.”

Balancing tech and human connections

“Technology is incredibly helpful,it can bring us efficiency especially when it comes to shared collaborative tools that give clients not only visibility but also confidence. However, there’s no substitute for a good conversation. I find that having chats—whether virtual or face-to-face—can make all the difference in building strong relationships. Meeting people in person is always a bonus, as it adds another layer of connection and trust.”

Simplifying complexity in an evolving landscape

“Employment tax can be a challenging area, especially with the growing demands for more detailed reporting from tax authorities. The increased reporting requirements can feel overwhelming for businesses. My role is to simplify the process, offering clients a clear overview of their obligations while drawing on insights from our work with other businesses to provide practical, proven solutions. It’s about helping them feel supported, no matter how complex their situation.”

Excited for the future

“It’s an exciting time to be part of AAB. The expansion into new locations, particularly the growth of our Irish business, presents fantastic opportunities for both our clients and our team. I’m thrilled to be part of that journey and to play a role in shaping the future of our employment tax services. On a personal level, I see these new challenges as a chance to keep learning and evolving in my career. Being part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking firm means there’s always something new to get stuck into.”

Nothing is more important than our people

“One of the things I love most about working here is the openness within the team. Everyone is encouraged to share their ideas, which leads to much better outcomes for our clients. For me, collaboration and communication are at the heart of everything we do—when people feel supported, they’re empowered to deliver their best work.”

Bringing a blend of expertise and empathy

“It’s incredibly rewarding when a client tells me that I’ve made their job easier. That’s when I know I’ve done my job well—not just providing advice but making a real difference.”

Changing perceptions

“There’s so much more to it than crunching numbers. It’s a people-focused role, involving constant collaboration, problem-solving, and meaningful conversations with clients. That’s what makes it so interesting and rewarding.”
