Ayesha Swales is a Business Advisory Assistant Manager based in our Leeds office. With a diverse portfolio of clients, she consistently delivers timely and insightful advice. She aims to ensure that clients have the right support and financial information to navigate the complexities of business management. Throughout her career, she has showcased exceptional leadership, using her extensive expertise to craft tailored solutions that drive growth and data-backed insights to uncover new opportunities for her clients.
Starting her career as a junior team member, her journey has been one of dedication, continuous learning, and mentorship. She has steadily taken on more responsibilities, becoming a trusted advisor to her clients and a mentor within the firm. Passionate about fostering strong client relationships and supporting her colleagues, Ayesha is committed to helping others succeed, just as she has throughout her career.
“I started as an assistant in the business advisory team, and it’s been an incredible journey of growth for me. Every step along the way, I’ve had the support and encouragement to develop my skills and take on new challenges. That’s a big reason why I’m so passionate about mentoring and supporting the newer members of our team now. I know how important it is to feel like someone believes in your potential, and I want to help others thrive in the same way.”
“In my role, I thrive on building lasting relationships with clients. I believe that truly understanding their business inside and out is key to offering advice that genuinely makes a difference. Whether it’s guiding them through tax planning or making sure they’re ahead of compliance deadlines, my goal is always to ensure they feel supported. I take pride in being approachable, offering clear and actionable insights that empower clients to make well-informed decisions.”
“I’ve always been driven by a desire to see my clients succeed. There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching their businesses grow and knowing that we’ve been able to play our part in that by adding value. Not only that- but when a client understands the impact that we’ve had- there’s nothing quite like it.
I enjoy being proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement, whether it’s enhancing financial management, finding cost-saving strategies, or embracing new technologies. And it’s not just about the clients—I also love working with junior team members, helping them grow their careers, just like I’ve been able to.”
“I’m passionate about the potential of technology in our field—it’s an incredible tool for efficiency and accuracy. We support clients across England so the virtual aspect of being able to quickly jump on a call or send an email to receive an answer is great. But I also firmly believe that nothing can replace the value of face-to-face interactions. Virtual tools are useful, but sitting down with clients, hearing their vision firsthand, and collaborating in person often leads to the most meaningful results. My role provides me with the perfect balance between leveraging technological advancements and maintaining strong personal relationships with my clients.”
“I pride myself on being able to take complex technical jargon and make it easily digestible for my clients. I don’t want to just throw complex terms at them that they won’t understand- that doesn’t benefit anyone. I want to make sure they fully understand any advice or suggestions that I provide so I know they have all the information they require to make informed data-backed decisions that will propel their businesses forward.”
“The Leeds office has recently undergone a period of significant change, which, while challenging at times, has been an incredibly valuable experience. What I’ve seen throughout this time is how much stronger we’ve become as a team across AAB. We’ve come together to offer our clients a full range of services—from audit and hotel accounting to financial planning and HR consultancy. Our strength lies in our ability to work as one, and I believe this collective approach only enhances our ability to support our clients at every stage of their business lifecycle and help them achieve their goals.”
