I LOVE MY ROLE
“I have a large portfolio of clients that cover a wide range of sectors which means I have an immense variety of work and clients I deal with. I’ve always loved my role; I enjoylove supporting clients and being able to advise them and help them to grow and move their businesses forward.
I’ve very committed to my clients and have long standing relationships with many of them. I really enjoy it when I see a client growing and being able to be a part of their growth. Many of my clients are a joy to work with and I find it really rewarding when I’m involved with a client day to day. When a client has a lot going on in their business is the time where I can add most value through the help and advice I provide.”
A REAL TEAM EFFORT
“When a client joins us, I ensure that they know the team that sits beside me to support them. It really is that team effort that offers our clients the best service, so its important clients know they can call on other team members when they need them.
I really love working with the people in the team and I enjoy it when we bring in new people and help train and develop their skills. It’s really satisfying to see them taking on more responsibility with the clients and building their own relationships.”
IGNORING MY DAD’S ADVICE
“As AAB continues to grow, I’m excited about the opportunities that will bring to myself and the wider team. We will continue to learn, adapt, and take best practice from around the group to ensure we can deliver what clients need now and in the future.
Despite being warned by my dad (also an accountant) not to follow his route into accountancy My dad is an accountant and he told me not to become an accountant, but I chose to ignore d his advice and have never regretted it! I really enjoy the variety of the role, meeting current clients and potential clients and understanding their business. I get a huge amount of satisfaction from the client relationships I build.”
“The infrastructure in AAB and the quality of people means that our clients have access to a wide range of support services and expertise. I know that if I can’t answer a question from a client, there will be someone in AAB that can.
Technology is also paying a key role in the day to day, both internally and delivery to clients. It’s a constantly changing environment, which can sometimes be a challenge, but it’s one that I embrace.”
