Calum Forrester is a Corporate Finance Manager based in our Glasgow office. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience working with a diverse range of clients across construction & property, industrial, manufacturing and healthcare to our Corporate Finance team.

Calum’s role as a manager involves the project management of deals. He acts as the point of contact for clients, ensuring that projects run smoothly and building strong relationships with key project stakeholders for the successful delivery of service.

Taking the lead with excellent communication

“Trust and honesty in a relationship with clients is essential for me. I’m a firm believer that this can only truly be achieved through effective communication. Projects that we support can be fast-paced or there are sometimes ones that take a little bit longer. We need to be equipped for either scenario and in my opinion the best way we can do that is by starting every project with a strong foundation of comms.

We take the lead on projects to align all the parties involved so it’s not just about communication with clients, we need to have excellent communication with the other side and all key stakeholders. This helps us ensure smooth delivery, gives our clients peace of mind and allows them to focus on driving their business forward with as minimal disruption as possible.”

Technology has broken down barriers to our service, we can support more and more clients because we don’t have the same blockers we once did. Communication with clients and other key stakeholders has also never been easier. For quick things we can jump on a call or send an email and get a quick response- we don’t have to wait to see people in person which aids our project delivery and reduces wait times for responses.

However, I still believe that it’s important where possible to have hands-on, face-to-face interactions with clients. These are essential to build and develop our relationships.”
