“For me, I want to ensure that, all of my relationships are built on a foundation of trust and understanding. It’s important that we fully understand their business, what it is they are looking to achieve, what their goals are and the part we play in helping them to achieve that.
They need to be able to trust that we are the best people placed to help them achieve their goals. Trust that we will look after their regulatory compliance work and always put them first and trust that they will receive the high-quality service that we promise to deliver. I pride myself on always going above and beyond to offer a service that has clients at the heart of everything I do.”
“I want to be my clients most trusted adviser. I want them to feel comfortable enough with me that they can pick up the phone with a problem and know that I’ll try to help them come up with the best solution. I’m not just there to tick a box and get the job done. I try to build long lasting relationships with my clients, becoming part of their business journey and deliver a service that is bespoke to them and their goals.
The best thing about being part of a group that is ever expanding is that I don’t always have to have the answers. I’m in a fortunate position where I work with experts in different service lines, so there is always someone to ask. If a client comes to me with a question- I might not have the answer but there’s always someone who might and adding that string to our bow puts us in a favoured position to further help our clients.”
“The advancements in technology in recent years, such as cloud accounting have completely transformed the accountancy profession. There’s so much that can be done remotely and through technology. It’s enabled us to better streamline processes and help more clients in more locations. For some clients, this is a great tool that we’re able to utilise to better help them.
However, there’s also clients that prefer to meet face to face. The benefit of technology is that it enables us to do both. We’re able to meet clients where they are and provide them a service that best meets their needs. So, if a client that is usually virtual wants us to meet face to face we’re able to offer this service. It’s something that clients appreciate that we can be flexible to meet their needs.”
“The changing nature of the business landscape over the last few years has meant that we’ve all had to adapt and change the way in which we not only work but also the way in which we deliver our services. This has been a really exciting time for me as someone who prides themselves on embracing change and being resilient. It’s been great to come up with different innovative ways to help our clients achieve their goals given these changes.
It’s not just about the numbers, and that’s what I aim to show through my advice.”
“As a senior manager a lot of my role involves working alongside and helping with the development of junior members of the team. This is one of my favourite parts of my role as I enjoy sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues.
It’s something that is so integral to who we are as a business, helping to develop our people and the growth that the group has been on over the last couple of years has meant that we’re able to create even more opportunities to develop and grow for our people. I’m so excited to see where the forever expanding Group will go next and I’m so happy to have a front row seat for all that opportunity.”
