Accountancy Firm AAB Totals up £8,000 for Archway Charity

Accountancy Firm AAB Totals up £8,000 for Charity

Aberdeen Chartered Accountants, Anderson Anderson & Brown LLP (AAB) has raised a fantastic £8,000 for their charity of the year, Archway.

Archway is an independent Aberdeen based charity which supports around 200 children and adults with learning disabilities through its respite, shared and permanent care services. The firm chose Archway to benefit from their 2010 fundraising efforts as they wanted to support a lesser-known charity where their donation would have a larger impact. Throughout the year the firm, who employ 160, held events including raffles, cake sales, various quizzes and weekly lotteries culminating in their annual dinner dance.

The firm’s fundraising committee would like to thank local businesses, clients and the staff of AAB, without whom this money could not have been raised. The firm’s annual fundraising campaign is just one part of its ongoing commitment to the charity sector. The staff and partners regularly support other local charities in their fund-raising activities through attending events and taking part in various sponsored activities.
