Our Health & Wellbeing team ensure all employees at AAB have access to mental health first aiders, and useful resources on our Wellbeing Hub to support them through their work and personal life.

As well as the above, at AAB we like to have fun! We’ve built quite a reputation as a team who work hard and play hard and thanks to our Social Club, we organise regular opportunities to get together.

Social Club

Each year our dedicated Social Club create an annual calendar of social and sports events, encouraging our people to get involved by organising opportunities for socialising with colleagues. Previous events have seen our people take part in office bingo, quiz nights, pumpkin carving and weekly department competitions, both in the offices and virtually to make sure everyone can get involved!

We are very sociable, which means that when you are part of our successful team you'll not only be provided with intellectual challenges, a stimulating work environment and opportunity to work with interesting people; but you'll also develop good relationships in a healthy workplace where you're encouraged to participate in numerous social, sports and fundraising events with everyone in the Group.

Health & Wellbeing

At AAB we have always known that our people are our greatest asset. In order for us to give everyone the opportunity to thrive, we see it is vital to support their wellbeing and reward their hard work.

We value an open culture where people are prepared to give and receive constructive feedback. We encourage people to contribute ideas that improve the business. Through coaching and mentoring programmes, every employee is given the chance to voice their opinions and discuss their personal goals to ensure they are happy in their life at AAB.

Our Health & Wellbeing Team organise a number of wellbeing programmes. These can range from online advice tools to Q&As with wellbeing experts to 1:1 personal coaching sessions. These initiatives highlight the importance of minimising stress, managing physical health and learning how getting involved in other activities besides work can boost your happiness.
