“Home-Start Aberdeen are delighted to have received this fantastic award of funding from AABIE. It has allowed us to support some of the families we support to take part in the 2019 Aberdeen Kilt Walk. It was a great day and our families were thrilled to be part of such an iconic event. Most of them had never done anything like this before but they are all now doing more physical activities and are determined to take part in next year’s event.
The funding also supported our 2019 Book Advent where we provide families with a bundle of 24 wrapped books to be opened daily in December. Parents tell us that they love sharing family time in the run up to Christmas reading their new books together. And not a bit of chocolate in sight!
