A local property developer struggling with funding and looking to secure its future to allow it to realise its investments in key development opportunities. 

Our Approach 

  • Assisted with negotiations and detailed financial projections for the bank to ensure their continued support and allow property developer to pursue refinancing options 
  • Identified and made appropriate introductions to potential investors 
  • Negotiated on the company’s behalf suitable refinancing terms with a preferred investor 
  • Advised on appropriate deal structure, providing support with financial projections, due diligence and review of legal agreements 
  • Considered tax position of company and identified areas where investment could be more tax efficient 
  • Supported the company with managing cashflows throughout this critical period 

The Outcome 

  • The introductions provided gave options to the client and provided a successful investment 
  • Potential tax issues for the company were identified and support was provided to the internal team to resolve these 
  • Allowed client to focus on commercial aspects of the investment as AAB provided support throughout the acquisition process
