Community & Volunteering

As a firm we value the communities in which we operate and invest in them, recognising the benefits we gain from them as well as the potential impact we can have. We encourage all AAB employees to volunteer for charitable projects and they are provided with a day of volunteer leave per annum. By giving employees the opportunity to dedicate an entire working day on full pay to assist with supporting events in our community; we enhance the ability of our community to fulfil its potential. Volunteer time has seen AAB staff gardening across Aberdeen City and Shire, preparing and clearing an area of forest at Easter Anguston Farm, with another team heading out to replant the area and participate in 10 different education and mentoring initiatives. AAB has also hosted multiple afternoon tea events for Contact the Elderly and the Edinburgh office spent a day cleaning up Portobello Beach.
